In line with Shopping Girl’s recent focus on the hot cosmetic trends that emphasize a woman’s most graphical facial features, the current mega-watt look draws attention to your eyebrows with metallics and glitter.

This isn’t a shy, fairy-like dusting of a few specks of shimmer we’re talking about (although that is a pretty look).

We’re talking about a full-on metallic effect, not quite robotic yet suggestive of AI technological aesthetics, perhaps in a sort of SciFi or Anime sense. So yes, fairy dust is still part of the vibe, but as a futuristic imp, not an old-school Nouveau sprite.

This is an excellent way to play up your eye color, hair color (especially if you have gone with a trendy color technique), or your outfit.

To get this look, a Shopping Girl may find it easiest to locate metallic eye shadow creams, rather than metallic eyebrow products, but look around. To use a metallic eye shadow cream on your brows, just pat the cream into your brows using an eyebrow brush. Metallic eye shadow liquids likewise will get the job done beautifully. You get apex results from a pretty quick and easy application technique, unlike something a little more twisty, such as creating the perfect cat’s eye flick. This is something any woman, of any age, can play with. You don’t have to go with shockingly pure, bright tones either; all sorts of tones and shades are available to experiment with. You can also adjust the effect by using a base primer or even mixing your colors yourself.

Strangely enough, you can also take advantage of some flash put forward to dress up an otherwise low-key outfit. For you Shopping Girls who aren’t much into shopping for clothes in particular, this is the kind of neat trick that will enable you to dress up a basic gown or ensemble for a dressy night out without needing to invest in evening wear you may not use again. Likewise for other events such as wedding receptions, cruise formal nights, and elegant parties. Another advantage here is the speed at which you can change from ordinary to extraordinary.

Wear a basic black outfit to the office. After work, run into the bathroom and spend less than five minutes applying some dazzling trendy glitter and/or metallic cosmetics. Done for a night out!
Put in a little more time and work with a neutral color range (here, it’s a dark grayscale theme), and the result is a memorable, glamorous look that hearkens back to the days of the black-and-white film screen goddesses….

Life sometimes seems like it has gotten so serious, judgmental, harsh, and unrelentingly nihilistic. But that’s a wrong and bad attitude to linger in. You don’t go to the park just to stare into the trash cans, do you? There are trash cans, yes, but there are also flowers, trees, playgrounds, and fountains.

Whatever your age or circumstances, you are a Shopping Girl, and a Shopping Girl is entitled to be Princessy on occasion. Break out some fun glitter and gleam in your favorite colors, and adorn yourself with joy!
